Exquisite Instant Pot Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • ½ Chopped onion
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar Pasta sauce
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 pound Spaghetti pasta
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes

Instructions:

  1. Add olive oil to the Instant Pot and set it to sauté.
  2. Sauté the onions until softened.
  3. Stir in meat, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Sauté until meat is cooked through. Drain excess fat and set the mixture aside.
  4. Turn off sauté function and pour half of the water into the Instant Pot.
  5. Break spaghetti noodles in half and layer them in an “x” pattern at the bottom.
  6. Cover noodles with pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, and remaining water, ensuring noodles are completely submerged.
  7. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and set it to sealing.
  8. Cook on manual high for 5 minutes.
  9. Allow a natural release for 5 minutes, then carefully push the valve to venting to release remaining pressure.
  10. Once safe, open the lid, return the meat mixture to the Instant Pot, and stir well before serving.
