Ingredients:

  • 1 rack of ribs (unseasoned)
  • 3/8 cup (95 ml) ketchup
  • 1/3 cup (85 ml) barbecue sauce
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup (190 ml) maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp HP sauce
  • Paprika, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Boil the ribs for approximately one hour. This crucial step ensures tender and flavorful ribs.
    • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Sauce Preparation:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, barbecue sauce, chili sauce, maple syrup, HP sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Baking:
    • Once the ribs are boiled, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
    • Brush the ribs generously with the prepared sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
    • Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and caramelized.
    • While baking, brush the ribs occasionally with the remaining sauce to enhance the flavor and glaze.
  4. Serving:
    • Once baked to perfection, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
